Our festivals
In the village the Horse-show, – which is now a category B contention of the county –, and in summer the Village-day are organized every year. This year’s Village-day gave occasion for the formal opening of the first playground in Karakószörcsök, which we attained by our own resources and with the help of competition-money. This day we are looking for the strongest men of the village. The women can enter into competition with each other in rolling-pin throwing, and the men can do a test of strength in wheel-rolling, milk-can lifting and haycock-holding.
